Police: Man punched, robbed pizza delivery woman
Albany Police have arrested a 27-year-old man for allegedly punching and robbing a Domino’s delivery driver back in August.
Nasir Shabazz is accused of punching the woman in the face several times and stealing the food. The incident happened just before midnight on Aug. 29 in the area of North Pearl Street and Livingston Avenue.
The delivery driver told police that she was delivering food to a man. When she informed the man of the fee, he allegedly punched her in the face several times and stole the food. She had pain and swelling to her face, according to a news release.
After an investigation, Shabazz was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree robbery.
He was arraigned in Albany City Criminal Court and remanded to Albany County Jail.
