Police: Milton woman bit child in her care

A Milton woman is accused of biting a child.

Angela M. Vaughn, 36, pleaded not guilty in Milton Town Court on Tuesday to a misdemeanor charge of endangering the welfare of a child.

A State Police investigation determined that Vaughn bit the child on Nov. 21, leaving a visible mark and bruising, police said. Vaughn is not related to the child but was caring for them.

Vaughn is due back in court on Dec. 19 at 9 a.m.
