Police: Milton woman tried to set mother on fire

A Milton woman is accused of trying to set her mother on fire.

Ashley L. Millington, 31, allegedly poured gasoline inside a residence on Paisley Road and attempted to start a fire, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.

The mother was able to leave. She was not injured.

There was damage to the house, police said.

Millington was charged with attempted arson and arson. She was arraigned in Milton Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail.
