Police: Montgomery County man drove drunk for fourth time in 10 years

A 48-year-old Montgomery County man is accused of driving while intoxicated for at least the fourth time in 10 years.

Police found Shawn W. Warwick, of Fonda, was found by police on May 17 after they responded to a report for an unconscious man behind the wheel of a vehicle on the property of a Fonda business. Warwick was found to be intoxicated, according to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.

Warwick has three DWI convictions for DWI and his license had been revoked. He was charged with DWI, aggravated unlicensed operation, having an open container and failure to have an ignition interlock device.

He was arraigned in Mohawk Town Court and sent to Montgomery County Jail without bail.
