Police officer accused of sexually assaulting Bethlehem child

A police officer is accused of sexually assaulting a child in Bethlehem.
John Dizon, 23, of Cornwall, New York is facing charges for predatory sexual assault against a child, criminal sex act, rape, and sexual abuse.
Dizon had sexual contact with a young child in April of last year in Bethlehem, said investigators, and was a UAlbany police officer at the time.
He is currently a police officer in Newburgh.
