Police: Pair was on drugs while caring for two children
Two people are accused of being on drugs while caring for two kids under the age of 5.
State Police responded to the area of Main Street in Queensbury on Saturday for a report of two adults under the influence while watching kids in their custody.
Guy A. Chadwick, 42, of Queensbury, and Jennifer R. Hagadorn, 34, of Wilton, appeared to be under the influence of narcotics, police said.
Chadwickâs vehicle was located nearby, and evidence of drug use was in plain view, said investigators, with more drugs on him.
Hagadorn was allegedly uncooperative with the investigation and arrested.
Chadwick was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a child. Hagadorn was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and obstructing governmental administration.
Both were released on appearance tickets and are due in Queensbury Town Court on March 4.
