Police: Saratoga Springs man had drugs, nearly a dozen guns
A Saratoga Springs man is accused of having large amounts of drugs and multiple guns including a “ghost gun.”
Investigators searched 79 Quevic Drive on Thursday and found drugs, including meth, fentanyl, Xanax, Suboxone and cocaine, they said.
There were also multiple 3D printers and 3D-printed firearm receivers for handguns, a machine gun, 3D-printed firearm silencer and several high-capacity ammunition devices, they said.
That investigation led investigators to Shippee Road in the town of Day, where they found an AR-15 and several high-capacity magazines, they said.
Tamaryn Bennett, 25, was charged with eight counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, 11 counts of criminal possession of a weapon and one count of criminal manufacturer of an undetectable firearm.
He was arraigned in Milton Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail or bond.
