Police are looking for two people who they say stole a puppy from a pet store in Queensbury on Wednesday.

The Warren County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Pet Zone in Aviation Mall at about 5:30 p.m. for a report of stolen puppy. A man and a woman entered the store and while an employee was caring for another animal, the man grabbed the Malshi puppy from a temporary open fenced area. He then tucked the dog under his hooded sweatshirt. The two then left the store, went through the mall and exited out the Target store.

The suspects appear to be in their early 20s.
