Police: Stillwater man broke into home, assaulted resident
State Police have arrested a Stillwater man for allegedly breaking into a home and assaulting a person.
Audin E. Jenkins, 25, forcibly entered the Halfmoon residence at around 8 p.m. on Thursday, police said. An adult and child were present. Jenkins then assaulted and injured the adult and damaged property, police said.
He allegedly refused to leave. There was an order of protection preventing Jenkins from having contact with the victim.
Jenkins left before police arrived but was located with the help of the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
He was charged with felony counts of burglary and criminal mischief and misdemeanors of criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a child. Jenkins was arraigned in Malta Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail in lieu of bail of $5,000 cash, $5,000 bond or $10,000 partially secured bond.
