Police: Stillwater man choked woman unconscious

A Stillwater man is accused of choking a woman.  

Michael T. Garrick, 41, allegedly choked to a woman he knew by applying pressure to her throat or neck, causing her to lose consciousness, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office said.

It happened early Thursday morning, investigators said.

Garrick is charged with felony second-degree strangulation. He was arraigned in Milton Town Court and sent to Saratoga County Jail without bail.
