A 17-year-old boy has been arrested for allegedly breaking into Green Tech High School.

Albany Police were called to the school at 99 Slingerland St. around 8:50 Tuesday evening for reports of a burglary in progress.

Officers found a broken glass door in the rear of the building.

The suspect left before officers arrived. He was found the next day and arrested on charges of criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Police won’t release his name due to his age.

He was released with an appearance ticket, and is due in Albany County Family Court at a later date.
