Three men are facing charges for allegedly robbing a delivery driver in Green Island on Tuesday.

Police responded to George Street in the village of Green Island for report of a robbery.

Police determined that two men allegedly struck the delivery driver in the face, causing the victim to fall to the sidewalk. The driver was injured.

After an investigation, police arrested Bennie L. Stephens Jr., of Green Island and Troy residents Ryan A. Riddell and Jaquan K. Henry.

Police said the three lured the driver. Stephens placed the order while Riddell and Henry assaulted and robbed the delivery driver.

Riddell and Stephens were charged with two counts of robbery and Stephens was charged with one count. All three were sent to Albany County Jail on bail of $25,000 cash or bond.
