Troy man faces drug charges

A 50-year-old Troy man is accused of possessing over a thousand bags of heroin as well as crack, cocaine and fentanyl. Troy Police searched the vehicle of Eric D. Fox in the area of 6th Avenue and Fulton Street on Tuesday at around 8:30 p.m. In addition to the heroin, he allegedly had several hundred grams of crack and powder cocaine and hundreds of pills containing fentanyl.

Troy Police searched Eric D. Fox’s car in the area of 6th Avenue and Fulton Street on Tuesday evening. Besides heroin, he allegedly had several hundred grams of crack and powder cocaine and hundreds of pills containing fentanyl.

Fox was arrested and charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance-intent to sell and three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance. He was arraigned in Troy City Court and sent to Rensselaer County Jail.
