Police: Waterford man accused of breaking into building

Police: Waterford man accused of breaking into building, stealing items.

A Waterford man is accused of stealing items from a business in Brunswick.

State Police said Nicholas Williams, 33, broke into a commercial building on Hoosick Road in Brunswick in the early morning hours of Nov. 29 and damaged it. Williams allegedly caused more damage inside and stole multiple items.

Troopers found Williams driving in Troy. He allegedly had the stolen items in his vehicle as well as burglary tools.

Williams was charged with burglary, criminal mischief, criminal tampering, petit larceny, possession of a burglar tool and criminal possession of stolen property as well as traffic violations.

Williams was issued an appearance ticket and was scheduled to be in Brunswick Town Court on Dec. 4.
