A Whitehall man is charged with rape.

Dylan T. Scoville, 24, allegedly had a sexual relationship with a child under the age of 17, State Police said. The inappropriate relationship took place in February in the village of Whitehall, according to police.

Scoville was charged on May 9 with third-degree rape. He was transported to Washington County Jail pending arraignment.
