A Hudson woman was not hurt after allegedly driving drunk and crashing her car on I-90 Friday morning, causing it to catch fire.

State Police responded to the area of Exit 6 at about 4:50 a.m. for a report of a vehicle off the roadway on fire. The investigation determined that Haley A. Perry, 25, was traveling east, when her car left the road, struck the shoulder and caught fire, police said.

Perry was arrested on scene and charged with driving while intoxicated and vehicle and traffic violations.

She was transported to the State Police station in Latham, where recorded a blood alcohol concentration of 0.16% — twice the legal limit. Perry was issued traffic tickets and released to a sober party. She is due in Albany City Court on Jan. 22.
