Poll: New Yorkers think women are held to higher standard than men
Most New Yorkers think women are held to a higher standard than men.
SurveyUSA polled 1,200 voters exclusively for NewsChannel 13. They asked if they agree with a statement from Gov. Hochul that said “We know that women are always held to a higher standard.”
The survey found 59% of voters sided with Hochul’s statement.
In addition, 30% of New Yorkers say Gov. Hochul is judged more harshly because she’s a woman.
