The Rail Trail bridge in Slingerlands will be shored up by the end of this week, said Albany County Executive Dan McCoy, and workers plan to remove the steel.

The bridge buckled while crews poured concrete decking, last week. No one was hurt.

Once the steel is removed, drainage work, paving and sidewalk work will be finished on State Route 85.
The plan is to be done by the end of August.
