Queens man charged in Slingerlands robbery
A Queens man is under arrest in connection with a Dec. 27 armed robbery in Slingerlands.
The robbery happened around 11:30 p.m. at 125 Vista Boulevard.
Ronaldo Alcazar, 25, and another suspect allegedly displayed a firearm and forcibly stole jewelry from the victim, police said.
Alcazar was charged with two counts of robbery, criminal use of a firearm, criminal possession of a weapon, grand larceny, unlawful imprisonment, conspiracy and menacing.
Alcazar was arraigned in Bethlehem Town Court and sent to Albany County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 bond. A preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. in Bethlehem Town Court.
