A Warren County man was convicted Thursday for a 2023 Albany shooting.

Christian Maldonado, of Queensbury, was found guilty of one count of attempted murder. Maldonado, 42, fired a gun at a person on April 27, 2023 in the area of Lark and Orange streets, prosecutors said.

Sentencing is scheduled for April 5.

Maldonado faces 25 years to life in prison because he may be designated as a persistent predicate felon.
