Queensbury woman charged in attempted burglary investigation

A Queensbury woman is accused of trying to break into someone’s house and trying to hit a good Samaritan who intervened.

Roxanne Gordon damaged the victim’s house with a tool while trying to break in, police said.

Police tell us a good Samaritan tried to intervene when Gordon used the tool as a weapon and attempted to strike them with it.

Gordon was found by law enforcement in the area, said police.

They say she was taken to jail and is awaiting arraignment.
