Quilt raffle to raise funds for upkeep of Schoharie limo crash memorial

The Apple Barrel store is holding a quilt raffle to raise funds for a memorial to the victims of the Schoharie limousine crash.
The drawing is on Oct. 14. Tickets are $10.
The woman who made the quilt said she waited for years to raffle this off, but COVID delayed the effort. And now on the eve of the five-year anniversary of that horrific crash, the quiltmaker and the store’s owners feel it is time to do this.
They hope the quilt brings comfort to whoever wins the raffle but also keeps the memory of those killed in the crash alive.
