The Red Cross helping six people with shelter, food and clothing after two fires in Albany on Wednesday.
The fire started at 482 First Street, then spread to 66 Quail Street, said fire investigators.
The victims include five adults and a 7-year-old child.
Sadly, at least two pets were found dead.
