Rensselaer County man faces up to 90 years in prison for child sexual assault

A Castleton-On-Hudson man was arrested, accused of sexually exploiting a child and receiving child pornography.
Zachary Cota now faces 25 to 90 years in prison.
Cota sexually exploited an 8-year-old child living outside of New York, and also received child pornography, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
Cota appeared in court, and is pending further proceedings, they said.
An investigation is ongoing.
