Police and school officials are investigating after a swastika symbol and a homophobic slur mentioning a student’s name were found on a stall in the boy’s bathroom at Lenox Memorial Middle and High School.
The hate message was found on April 28 by a faculty member, NewsChannel 13’s media partners at The Berkshire Eagle reported.
A meeting was set up with the family of the student named in the slur, and the Berkshire County District Attorney’s Office and state police were contacted in case further help was needed with the investigation.
