Retiring Saratoga Springs police assistant chief honored in walkout ceremony
A walkout ceremony was held on Friday for Saratoga Springs Assistant Chief Robert Jillson, who is retiring after 33 years in law enforcement.

Colleagues and friends lined the street behind the police station.
Jillson was also the department’s longtime spokesman and leader of the investigations unit.
Jillson is a graduate of the FBI National Academy. He started as a patrol officer in 1998 and was promoted to sergeant in 2006.
