Ribbon cut to Durrant’s at Van Schaick
Business owners in Cohoes cut the ribbon Tuesday on a new venture, called Durrant’s at Van Schaick.

Founders and owners Thomas and Courtney Durrant, who also own Signal 30 BBQ in Cohoes, joined city officials Tuesday in the historic Van Schaick Island Country Club to take over the name and ownership of the space.
It holds a private golf course and public bar as well as restaurant, and was founded in 1895.
Durrant’s will be open every day but Monday and are already accepting reservations for catering events.
