Road construction underway to upgrade Albany’s Lark Street

Construction is now underway on Lark Street.

Workers were pulling up cobblestones on Tuesday, as NewsChannel 13 stopped by.

The whole area is being revitalized as part of a $3.3 million project.

The construction is expected to last through the fall of this year.

Mayor Kathy Sheehan sent out a notice on Monday, saying that all timed parking restrictions in Washington Park are lifted during the completion of the project.
