Rochester man hit, killed outside Bills game

A person was hit and killed by a car outside the Buffalo Bills game on Monday evening. The person who hit them fled the scene, police said.

It happened around 8:15 p.m.

Police found the victim, a 65-year-old Rochester man, lying in the street. The man was pronounced dead at a hospital a short time later.

A bystander got the suspect’s license plate and description. A person was taken into custody within hours, NBC station WGRZ in Buffalo reported.

Meantime, another man was also hit by a car in Buffalo on Monday, police said.

He crossed the street when the driver had the right of way, investigators said.

The 36-year-old was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver is cooperating with police.
