Ronald McDonald House Donations in the Capital Region

A special escort for a generous donation made its way to a local charity on October 11.
Firefighters from the town of Florida Volunteer Fire Department in Massachusetts spent the last few months raising money for the Ronald McDonald house here in Albany.
Yesterday, they had a special police and fire escort go to the house where they presented the charity with a nearly $70,000 donation.
Not only that, but the police officers and firefighters lent a helping hand to unload a trailer full of gifts and supplies bought by the department with the money they raised.
