Christmas came early this year for some kids in Schenectady County. Dunkin’ hosted a new clothing drive Saturday as the company reopened its location at 1128 Duanesburg Road in Rotterdam.

The new shirts, socks and bedding will go towards Things of My Very Own, a nonprofit helping children in crisis.

The Dunkin’ location also donated $3,000 to the program.

It’s all in the name of making sure everyone has something new to unwrap this year, organizers said.
