A manhunt in Salem, Washington County is over after the suspect in Wednesday's shooting turned himself in, investigators said.

A manhunt in Salem, Washington County is over after the suspect in Wednesday’s shooting turned himself in, investigators said.

Jeffrey Dickinson, 35, called 911 Wednesday night to turn himself in. He was located in the area of Blind Buck Road near Buck Ridge Way, according to officials.

Police tried to arrest Jeffrey Dickinson, 35, on felony drug warrants around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.

Dickinson then fled into the woods near Blind Buck Road. Police believe there was a shot fired at that time.

Police searched the area of Sky Parlor Way, and asked residents in the area to lock their doors during the manhunt.
