Saratoga businesses busy during Opening Weekend

Impressions of Saratoga has been around for more than 40 years. You can find all types of gifts and trinkets to buy, and remember your time at the track.

One of the owners, Marianne Barker, says they have both regulars who frequent every year and guests from out of town who are visiting for the first time.

Their main objective is to make sure customers can really enjoy the store and have an experience to remember.

Marianne says they were one of the lucky shops during the pandemic to still maintain a steady flow of customers, but this year with everything being fully opened they had a surge of customers for Opening Weekend.

“It’s big, I mean for our business anyway, this is our business. So we live for racing season. It’s a very big part of our season because of the type of products we sell, but Christmas is very busy for us as well, but this is definitely the season,” she said.
