Saratoga County man pleads guilty to felony DWI for crashing U-Haul

A Greenfield Center man has admitted to driving a U-Haul with a blood alcohol concentration three times the legal limit and crashing into a vehicle.

James McFarland, 54, pleaded guilty in Saratoga County Court on Tuesday to felony DWI, according to the Saratoga County District Attorney’s Office.

McFarland crashed into the back of a municipal worker’s vehicle on Feb. 13, 2023 in Clifton Park.

His driver’s license was revoked because of multiple previous DWI convictions within the past 10 years.
