Dispatchers and the Saratoga Springs Police Department said Tuesday was relatively quiet, saying the state of emergency and the fact that schools closed has been keeping people home.

NewsChannel 13 rode along with officers as they responded to calls in the city, saying motor vehicle crashes are the biggest concern during this type of storm.

Dispatchers have also received many calls about downed power lines. They ask that the public call National Grid for general issues with power.
