Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrest Schuylerville woman for damaging property

The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested Carolyn R. Backus, 42, of Schuylerville for damaging property.
Police say they responded to a disturbance call on Chestnut Street in Schuylerville on Friday at 5:04 p.m., which after investigation, led to the arrest of Backus for third-degree criminal mischief.
She is accused of damaging property of another person in an amount exceeding $250, said the Sheriff’s Office.
Backus was arraigned in Malta Town Court and released on her own recognizance pending further action in the matter.
