Saratoga Racecourse announces Saturday events at the track

Here’s what’s happening Saturday at the track.

The feature race on the card is the Jim Dandy and Alfred G. Vanderbilt handicap. It’s also Permanently Disabled Jockeys’ Fund Awareness Day.

Riders will participate in a host of activities to raise awareness and funding for the PDJF.

NYRA will participate with the launch of jockey trading cards.

Fans will be given the opportunity to purchase a pack of five jockey trading cards for $5. The limited-edition cards will feature 20 of Saratoga’s active and most popular jockeys.

Fans 21 and older can enjoy complimentary samples of a cocktail featuring Mount Gay Eclipse rum from noon until 4 p.m., just outside the porch.
