Saratoga Racecourse work will cause upcoming lane closures

Drivers in Saratoga Springs should watch out for lane closures starting this week.

Tree removal along Union Avenue begins Monday.
One lane in each direction will be closed between East Avenue and Henning Road as work resumes along the Saratoga Racecourse.
That’s about a point-7 mile stretch right in front of the gates of the racecourse.
Later this fall, a detour will be in place around this stretch to allow for milling and repaving.
Drivers should avoid the area and drive responsibly if they must use the road.
