Saratoga Springs buzzing with anticipation as Travers weekend approaches
As the weekend approaches, businesses in Saratoga Springs buzzing with anticipation as they prepare to welcome a surge of tourists.
“It’s going to be exciting. They put the PHISH concert right on top of the traverse weekend. So 100,000 people they’re expecting, between the two hopefully we get out share,” said Mark Padvaiskas, the General Manager at Cooperstown Distillery.
Local businesses like Cooperstown Distillery are leaving no stone unturned to guarantee a memorable experience for all of their visitors.
“We’re extremely happy. We can’t wait to see everybody coming through here,” Padvaiskas said.
The bar has curated special drink menus aiming to captivate the taste buds of the incoming patrons.
“We have a very dynamic business. We have a full bar. Everything you see here we make beautiful cocktails. We do our own spirits. We are our own distillery. Cooperstown distillery based in Cooperstown New York,” Padvaiskas said added.
Business hours will be 10 a.m. until 12 a.m. to keep up with the influx of people.
Businesses are also focusing on enhancing the tourist experience by collaborating with businesses Saratoga Race course.
“We also have a tasting table at the track this year. We are on the taste of New York tent,” Padvaiskas said.
City officials are closely coordinating with businesses to ensure smooth operations and manage the expected increase in foot traffic. Businesses, both large and small, are coming together with a shared goal: to provide tourists with an unforgettable experience that will leave them yearning to return to Saratoga springs the future.
