Saratoga Springs finds new spot for possible homeless shelter
The city of Saratoga Springs is one step closer to a new place to shelter the homeless.
The task force charged with finding space for a homeless shelter in the city voted to recommend the property on Lake Avenue, which is Route 29.
The property is currently on the market, and the task force said it has access to water and sewer services.
The drawback is the location farther away from downtown.
Council members are expected to vote in 2024.
