The Saratoga Springs fire chief is firing back at the city over allegations of misconduct.
Attorneys for Chief Joseph Dolan sent a written response to the city, disputing each one of the disciplinary charges against him.
The public safety commissioner filed a notice of discipline against Dolan last month accusing him of double-dipping, working for the state Office of Fire Prevention while on the clock for the city, and driving a city-owned Chevy Tahoe for personal business.
Dolan’s attorney wrote that the accusations are frivolous and inaccurate. The city has asked the New York State Police to determine if the alleged behavior was criminal.
