Saratoga Springs recover stolen handgun, arrest Schenectady man

Saratoga Springs Police got a stolen gun off the streets and made an arrest early Sunday morning.
A lieutenant was on foot patrol near Caroline Street at about midnight, when he spotted a black handgun in plain view in a parked car, police said.
25-year-old Raki Johnson of Schenectady was arrested.
The weapon was a loaded nine-millimeter taurus semi-automatic handgun with nine rounds of ammunition, which had been reported stolen out of Catawba County, North Carolina, authorities said.
Johnson was sent to jail on $15,000 cash bail.
