Saratoga Springs school district offers free meals for students
Starting Monday, students in the Saratoga Springs school district will get free breakfast and lunch for the rest of the school year.
The district has been discussing the possibility since the beginning of the school year, as inflation drives up prices at the grocery store.
Schools will use covid relief funds and the cafeteria fund to cover the cost.
The meals are only for this school year.
Students will keep using ID cards, but won’t be charged.
