Saturday marks two years since the brutal killing of physician assistant Philip Rabadi.

Rabadi, 35, was attacked and murdered in his home in the town of New Scotland on April 13, 2022.

Jacob Klein was convicted of the crime and is currently serving a prison sentence of 25 years to life. Klein carried out the vicious crime because he was jealous his ex-girlfriend had moved on and married Rabadi, prosecutors said.

The Rabadi family has started a foundation called Phil with Love in Philip’s honor, to raise money for scholarships and for charitable groups across the Capital Region.

NewsChannel 13 has learned there is a big donation from the organization in the works right now. More details will be shared in the next couple of weeks.
