SCCC receiving $1 million towards cannabis accreditation program

Schenectady County Community College will be receiving $1 million from the state to develop or improve a cannabis accreditation program.
Gov. Hochul announced that some SUNY and CUNY schools will be receiving funding to support the creation or expansion of those programs.
The programs are designed to help students get employment in the cannabis industry.
