Schenectady County extends emergency migrant order

Schenectady County has extended its emergency order to deal with migrants.

The county manager issued the order back in July. It prohibits hotels, motels, shelters and homes in the county from making contracts with outside municipalities to provide housing without a license.

The order came after homeless people were kicked out of a Super 8 in Rotterdam as migrants moved in.
