Two people were hurt, but not badly and were treated at the scene, the Schenectady fire department said.

The fire broke out Saturday night right around 9 p.m.
None of the firefighters were injured, the fire chief said.
Right now, they have not announced the cause, but he told us it doesn’t seem suspicious.

The home is salvageable, the fire chief said.
The Red Cross is helping three adults and four children from the two families.
