The Schenectady County Legislature has announced the winners of the 54th annual Schenectady County Holiday Parade. More than 100 floats, marching bands, and performers took part in the parade in downtown Schenectady on November 18.

More than 100 floats, marching bands and performers took part in the parade in downtown Schenectady on Nov. 18.

The prize for “Best Overall” went to the New York Air National Guard 109th Airlift Wing.

The best to embody the “New York State of Mind” theme was the New York State Thruway Authority.

The best in “Movement and Dance” went to the Schenectady High School Dance Team.

The best “Live Musical Performance” was Schenectady Caribbean Day.

The “Red Suspenders Award” went to the Stanford Heights Fire Department.

All the winners were awarded with plaques and certificates.
