Schenectady ‘Hometown Hero’ banners honoring veterans for 10th year
The Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation is presenting the 10th annual "Hometown Heroes Banner Program."
The Downtown Schenectady Improvement Corporation is presenting the 10th annual “Hometown Heroes Banner Program.”
The program will recognize all active duty and veteran service members, both living and dead.
The banners will be on display on light posts around downtown Schenectady from late May until November for two years.
Right now – the project is looking for nominations.
There is no cost to nominate a service member.
If you want to guarantee a banner, then it will cost $300 to sponsor it.
