Schenectady man facing child pornography charges

A Schenectady man is facing child pornography charges.

State Police got a tip about Tyler Bechand, 34, from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Investigators got a warrant, searched his home on Saturday, and found the images, they said.

He was released and is due back in court on Sept. 26.

State Police told NewsChannel 13 it doesn’t appear Bechand knew the victims, but they’re still investigating.
